Clear, fined wine is very pretty, and shows well in a glass. But filtered wine has a diamond sparkle to it that catches the eye, and looks more like a commercial wine. It's the difference between a freshly washed car and a freshly waxed car. Both are great, but one is noticeably more appealing.

Mini-Jet filters use three different grades of pads for increasing levels of polish. Whichever filter pad you use, we strongly recommend using the Buon Vino pre-filter setup with your Mini-Jet if your wine contains oak chips or powder, or if it contained grape skins. All small pumps are designed specifically to move liquids with low levels of suspended material, and the small, efficient and easy-to-clean pre-filter helps ensure your pump head maintains maximum efficiency as you filter your delicious wine.
