Galaxy hops: the true star of citrus. Raised and introduced in Australia in 2014, this hop hit the ground running in the US in 2011 and blew beer-makers away. Complex. Intense. Exceptionally bright. Tropical aftertaste. Galaxy hops are often described as having a passion fruity character along with aromas and flavors of clean citrus and peach. Most of the flavor profile is all fruit with no floral, pine, or spice, making demand for Galaxy extremely high causing this variety to be rare and hard to come by.
 
Due to the high cohumulone content of this hop, it works best as a late addition or dry hop.
