Mosaic is so named because it gives a range of aromas and flavors which are complementary to other common hop aromas. Everything from citrus, pine, earth, herbal, mint, bubblegum, blueberry, lime peel, black pepper - the character seems to change depending upon the conditions it is in.

Usage: Dual Purpose

Flavor Profile:  Strong impressions of citrus oil, balsam pine,
blueberry, peach and tropical fruit (especially mango, but also shades of lime and mandarin orange)


Beer Type: American-style IPAs, saisons, wheats


Substitutions: Simcoe, Citra, Nugget

Alpha Acids: 10.5 - 14%

Beta Acids: 3 - 4.5%

Cohumulone: (% of alpha acids): 21 - 25%

Total Oils in mls per 100 grams dried: 0.8 - 3.0 mL/100g

Retains 75% alpha acid after 6 months storage at 20ºC (68ºF)
